Air Crosses are an amazing design choice for using negative space! This air cross is so simple and sleek, a beautiful tribute to this sweet couple. Notice how they chose to utilize a polished chamfer on the base for their shared last name? Choosing to put their last name there was a wonderful use of space!

One thing we love about air crosses is how the sunlight hits them just right, casting cross-shaped shadows on the ground.

Over the years we have seen several monuments use negative space in the same way but with differing shapes. We have seen this technique with guitars, hearts and so much more.

This memorial is made of five pieces of solid black granite- two tablets (top), one base (bottom) and two flower pots.
