Pennel Bench

What a beautiful memorial bench this is! The deep, rich mahogany granite along with the shape carved rose makes an absolutely stunning tribute.

This bench style is just as versatile as it is beautiful! You would never guess by looking at it, but this bench can also be used as a cremation memorial. Underneath the bench seat, in the pedestal leg, are two separate holes to place ashes. The ashes are secured, of course, by the bench seat.

Most often a family will do a headstone at the head of a grave and also a bench at the foot. However, many families choose to do a bench as opposed to a traditional style memorial. By doing that they are both providing seating when they visit and providing a permanent memorial for their loved ones. It is important to note that some cemeteries do not allow benches, so you will want to check your cemetery’s rules and regulations before deciding you would like to have one.
