Stately and stunning! Those two words immediately come to mind when we look at the Ragar memorial. The very first detail you may notice is the apex top on this memorial- isn’t it beautiful?! You do not see apex tops very often and this one definitely sets the bar for beauty! We love how the apex top is gently separated with a little notch from the softly curved scotia edge. 

If you look at the base (bottom) you will notice that it slopes on all for sides, up from the top and angled down to the bottom. This is commonly called a “drop wash”. The drop wash adds a beautifully classic design element to this memorial.

This timeless monument is made of two pieces of Liberty Gray granite- the tablet (top) and the base (bottom).
