The Hot Young Widow’s Club: Lessons on Survival From the Front Lines of Grief

The author of this book, Nora McInerny, is absolutely amazing. She writes and speaks with such honest, raw grit and emotion, leaving the reader feeling as if they have known her for years. This first book is written as if it a “grief survivor’s guide” of sorts, in that she discusses many different emotions she went through that other people often don’t talk about. We highly recommend this book for widows of all ages (not just young ones!) and also want to note that the book is not religious and does contain a little “language”.

Nora McInerny publicly speaks on her journey through losing her husband, raising her young children as a single mother and finding love again. She has participated in several TED Talks and runs a widow’s support group as well.
