As a burial vault installer/technician I, you will be part of a team that creates a beautiful and comfortable graveside experience for those grieving the loss of a loved one. This team is directly responsible for our client experience and is dedicated to a level of professionalism that is second to none. They are attentive to every detail and truly desire to make every “final goodbye” as special as possible.
This team functions cohesively to ensure each family receives their best work, even at odd hours or on Saturdays. Successful team members are open to a flexible work schedule in which they are available for overtime opportunities up to six days per week.
Our team is looking for hard-working individuals who take pride in their work, have a passion for people and are dedicated to working together to do the job right the first time around.
This position is an entry-level position and provides plenty of room for career growth, including leadership opportunities.
The starting pay for this position is $15 per hour plus benefits.
Essential Job Functions
- Understanding the days’ demands and preparing by ensuring all materials, tools and product are safely loaded on the company truck
- Traveling by way of company vehicle to the cemetery and successfully locating the correct gravesite and assessing it for any problems
- Creatively thinking through problems and successfully resolving them
- Safely setting up and securing the concrete burial vault over the pre-dug grave
- Setting up and securing the graveside tent
- Setting up and beautifying gravesite accessories such as chairs and other items
- Communicating with and assisting as necessary the funeral director/client
- Respectfully and safely closing the burial vault and lowering it into the grave
- Systematically disassembling the gravesite service and organizing components according to company standard
- Skillfully completing jobs within the cemetery such as monument repair and monument installation
- Assisting in maintaining the structural integrity and appearance of tools and equipment
- No previous experience with funerals, cemeteries or monuments is required
Qualifications
- Must be mindful of the fact that the successful candidate is representing our company and our clients at all times. Such mindfulness includes maintaining a professional appearance, utilizing both spoken and unspoken manners and displaying the utmost respect for the decease and the family
- Attentive to all technical, visual and process details
- Maintains full range of motion body movement including lifting, bending, twisting, turning, kneeling and squatting
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 80 pounds
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must have excellent project organization and communication skills
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Must be eager and willing to learn
For successful career advancement it will be helpful for applicant to have:
- Valid and clean commercial driver’s license (or meets the qualifications to obtain one, which we will gladly assist the right applicant with)

As a Burial Vault Installer/Technician II, you will be responsible for leading a team that creates a beautiful and comfortable graveside experience for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Your dedication to professionalism and to customer service will be on full display as you train, encourage and motivate your team to make every “final goodbye” as special as possible.
Being in the field with your team will present challenges and you will need to be comfortable making decisions to ensure that each family receives our best work. You will be responsible for assisting in the scheduling of your team, which will include odd hours and overtime opportunities up to six days per week.
The starting pay for this position is $20 per hour plus benefits.
Essential Job Functions
- Understanding the days’ demands and preparing by ensuring you and your team is ready and that all materials, tools and product are safely loaded on the company truck
- You will be responsible for driving the company truck and must have a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or meet all qualifications to obtain one. (we are willing to assist the right applicant through this process)
- Maintain all driving logs and DOT compliance documents
- Driving the company vehicle to the cemetery and successfully locating the correct gravesite and assessing it for any problems
- Creatively thinking through problems and successfully resolving them with your team
- Safely setting up and securing the concrete burial vault over the pre-dug grave
- Setting up and securing the graveside tent
- Setting up and beautifying gravesite accessories such as chairs and other items
- Communicating with and assisting as necessary the funeral director/client

They are attentive to every detail throughout the installation process and truly desire to leave every job site with a dignified, job well-done.
This team functions cohesively to ensure each family receives their best work, Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. Successful team members are open to a flexible work schedule in which they are available for overtime opportunities up to six days per week.
Our team is looking for hard-working individuals who take pride in their work, have a passion for perfection and are dedicated to working together to do the job right the first time around.

Essential Job Functions

- Understanding the days’ demands and preparing by ensuring all materials, tools and products are safely loaded and secured on the company truck
- Traveling by way of company vehicle to the cemetery and successfully locating the correct grave site and assessing it for any problems
- Systematically setting up the job site at the grave
- Accurately measuring the grave site and running lines to ensure the stone is being placed in the precise location
- Creatively thinking through problems and successfully resolving them
- Safely digging and pouring the foundation, ensuring it is level
- Safely assisting in the operation of the crane
- Communicating with the cemetery sexton when needed
- Electronically documenting the installed monument and any problems that had been encountered
- No previous experience with funerals, cemeteries or monuments is required

This is a lower management level position with plenty of room for career growth.
This position does require a clean driving record. The starting pay for this position is $18 per hour plus benefits.
Essential Job Functions
- Understanding the company’s safety policies as they relate the company vehicles, job site, product and equipment
- Understanding the days’ demands and preparing by ensuring all customer orders are safely loaded and secured on the company truck, the delivery route has been mapped and all necessary tools and supplies have been identified.
- Driving to each cemetery while adhering to company’s driving safety policies
- Overseeing the safe and systemic set up and clean up of each job site
- Reviewing team’s placement precision
- Creatively thinking through problems and successfully resolving them
- Safely operating the crane while adhering to company safety policies
- Communicating with upper management if and when questionable situations arise
- Overseeing the electronic documentation of each completed job
- No previous experience with funerals, cemeteries or monuments is required
Qualifications
