Only Used on Black Granite
Using Contrast
When we engrave a monument we rely on the contrast between the polished surface and the natural stone underneath it. Black granite has a wonderful contrast that we can expose by etching the text onto the stone.
The benefits of using etched letters are
- More font choices (unlike sandblasted letters, we can use fine/skinny letters)
- More size options (unlike sandblasted letters, we can make the font as small as needed for longer text)
